“You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.” - Swami Vivekandanda

Bhagwat Katha Spreading the Message of Know Thyself at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh

Shackles of slavery to vices birth after birth attain freedom once we realize the inner self – the soul. I order to awaken the people at the level of a soul, Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was organised by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) at Bijnor, U.P.

The Bhagavata Purana presents a form of dharma wherein devotion ultimately leads to self-knowledge, liberation and bliss. Preacher Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji, the daughter disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Convener and founder of DJJS), meticulously articulated this Katha for seven days. The program commenced with extending heartiest welcome to all guests, preachers, volunteers and audience. The humble and sincere prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna laid the foundation of divinity. Series of devotional bhajans during the spiritual discourse added fuel to spiritual fire and created the huge positive impact by making people realize its role which cannot be replaced by any worldly or materialistic happiness.

Sadhvi Ji explained that just like juice of a fruit flows through the entire tree, but it is only the fruit which carries in itself the edible part and juices. Likewise, one who attends Bhagwat Katha receives bounties of knowledge present in scriptures. She profoundly announced that one who is bestowed with Brahma Gyan by a perfect spiritual Master receives extra ordinary grace and starts progressing in path of spirituality. Brahm Gyan is true divine knowledge by which a seeker receives direct perception of God. She explained that the elemental form of God is light as without light no object can be seen. The colour and form of all objects whether living or non-living, is established only by the light it reflects. A devotee when blessed with Brahma Gyan sees light at its forehead or hridi- the place at which two eyebrows meet.

Sadhvi ji further asserted that disciples who consistently meditate upon Brahma Gyan, not only purify own life but also work towards uplift of those who have been born less fortunate. Various projects led by the disciples of Sri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji present live illustration of selfless service. One such project is Kamdhenu which works towards bovine conservation. Success of this project speaks volumes about dedication and spirit of volunteers. There are numerous other ongoing projects namely, Sanrakshan (Environment conservation), Santulan (Gender equality) and Manthan (Education of under privileged children), just to name a few. Volunteers from all spheres of lives passionately extend their support in all these projects. Running under the divine direction of Sri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, these projects have received thunderous applause from people all over the world.

A large number of devotees and eminent personalities attended the event and were impressed by eloquent speaker as well as by the quality of projects addressing different social causes. They spoke great words of reverence for Ashutosh Maharaj Ji who is the guiding force of these projects. People expressed their desire to receive Brahma Gyan so that they can know themselves inside out.
