Veena through the hands of Goddess Saraswati, Flute through Lord Krishna, Pellet Drum (Damru) through Lord Shiva and Conch shell (Shankha) through Lord Vishnu, all these indicate towards the eternal music of the soul which helps one to achieve one’s ultimate goal of Liberation.
Our scriptures pronounce boldly –
बिना बजाये निस--दिन बाजे घंटा--शंख--नगारी रे..!!
बैरा सुनी--सुनी मस्त होत है तन की सुदी बिसारी रे..!!
Without an effort, Bells, Conch and drums playing endlessly, deaf engrossed in it and listens it all profusely.
Eternal Music (Anhad Naad) is the vibration of the soul and the entire creation, and which is beyond senses. This ever-reverberating song of Divinity can be unveiled only by the grace of the Perfect Master, who can open gateways to inner awakening. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan organised a devotional concert ‘Bhajananjali’, emphasising the importance of music as the eternal connection with God, at Ludhiana, Punjab on 24th June 2018. Under the guidance and grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji; a celestial ambience was created with every heart-warming, soulful song and mesmerizing rhythm that were composed and rendered by preachers. Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji was the preacher for the program and she implored the audience to seek the highest knowledge of awakening through her eloquent discourse. She articulately highlighted essence of all Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Bhagwat Gita and other scriptures, in an explicit manner.
Sadhvi Ji explained that this eternal music is the stairway for a human being to connect with Advaita and it destroys all negative vibrations within and outside of us. Our societies are plagued with vices of lust, greed, jealously, fear and ego and that the origin of these vices is form thought processes flourishing within us. The world of Eternal Music which is experienced during meditation technique of “Brahm Gyan” helps us to purify our mind and intellect, and thereby leading us to the ocean of peace and tranquility.
Such devotional singing infused the desire for experiencing the truth, to get a glimpse of bliss that is ’Self’, amongst those who have not initiated their Supreme journey, while creating a ceaseless energy of love and devotion for disciples pursuing the path. The program highlighted that in this limited span of life, one must strive for the highest state of Knowledge i.e. Brahm Gyan and secure the vision of Supreme and nothing less. To attain that, one needs a surrender onto the Perfect Master of the present time or ‘Satguru’. Only Satguru can arrest the fall and reverse the downward spiral of humanity comprising on each individual and only the scared fire of this knowledge can burn all sins of humans into ashes. The program beautifully touched upon the right cords of helping attendees to introspect the rightful purpose of existence and brought sanguinity of new beginning.
