With the immense auspicious grace of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, a devotional concert on the theme 'Samarpan' was organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan on 29th June, 2019 at Amritsar, Punjab. The discourser of the spiritual event Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, blissfully articulated the spiritual significance of 'Samarpan'(Surrender) by quoting several examples from our scriptures signifying the true essence of ‘Surrender’ by a disciple in his or her spiritual journey. Melodious devotional bhajans and thought-provoking renditions invigorated the assemblage of spiritual aspirants present during the event.
The Sadhvi orator elucidated that one can submit to the demands of the external world but ‘True Surrender’ is never to a person and always to the higher life force itself. Complete Surrender can be only achieved with an undeterred devotion, whole-hearted prostration and complete reverence and obeisance at the holy feet of the profound master. Complete Surrender is an internal process of letting go of one’s fears, negative emotions, desires and vices by practicing detachment, compassion and meditation.
Sadhvi Ji explicated that a spiritual aspirant should focus on attaining the power of inner self by experiencing the magnificent supra-mental science of Self realization. It is only the ‘Eternal Name’ of the divine Lord that brings us peace, makes us internally strong and vigilant that no tornado of external circumstances or a squall of internal thoughts can distract us from the path of wisdom and truth.
The spiritual orator concluded that spiritual awakening is the prerequisite to ultimate surrender. Those who attain the realization of the Divine Lord within are not pulled by the worldly illusions and complexities of relationships.
