Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the divine guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, successfully organized a grand seven-day, ‘Shri Ram Katha’, from 18th to 24th May 2026 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The sacred event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of thousands of devotees, spiritual seekers and families from various parts of Uttarakhand and nearby regions. Each day commenced with Vedic chanting and devotional bhajans, creating an atmosphere of serenity and devotion.

The divine oration was eloquently delivered by DJJS representative Sadhvi Deepika Bharti Ji, whose soulful narration, profound spiritual insights, and captivating explanation of the life and ideals of Lord Shri Ram deeply touched the hearts of the audience. Through inspiring anecdotes, devotional bhajans, and practical life lessons, the Katha beautifully highlighted the timeless relevance of maryada purushottam Shri Ram in today’s society.
During the seven-day discourse, Sadhvi Ji elaborated on various significant episodes from the life of Lord Ram, including the ideals of obedience, truth, and righteousness, the victory of truth over evil through the defeat of Ravana and the establishment of Ram Rajya as an ideal society.

Addressing the congregation, DJJS orator explained that Ramayana is not merely a religious scripture but a spiritual roadmap for leading a balanced, meaningful, and awakened life. Sadhvi Ji beautifully narrated that every incident from the life of Shri Ram carries profound spiritual symbolism. Elaborating on the role of ‘Satguru’, Sadhvi Ji shared that just as Shri Ram guided Nishadraj, Shabari, Sugriv, and Vibhishan towards truth and liberation, a true Satguru today guides seekers toward self-realization and God-realization. She emphasized that spiritual transformation is possible only when one walks under the guidance of divine wisdom.
Sadhvi Ji elucidated that Ravana symbolizes the ten negative tendencies present within human beings; ego, anger, greed, attachment, jealousy, pride, selfishness, hatred, illusion, and arrogance. The real victory of Ram, she explained, occurs when a person defeats these inner enemies through meditation, humility, and righteous actions. She further stated that modern society is facing emotional unrest, broken relationships, stress, and moral decline because people have moved away from spiritual values. Lord Ram’s life teaches humanity how to maintain dignity, patience, discipline, and compassion even in difficult circumstances. His conduct reflects the ideal character every human should strive to develop.
Connecting spirituality with daily life, Sadhvi Ji urged the youth to adopt moral values and remain connected with Indian culture and spirituality. She encouraged families to spend time together in prayer, positive discussions, and selfless service to society. She emphasized that true devotion is not limited to rituals alone rather they must reflect in one’s thoughts, words, and actions.
Verily, the Katha inspired everyone to awaken the ‘Ram Tattva’ within themselves through meditation, noble conduct, and the grace of the Satguru. It clearly conveyed the lesson that when divine wisdom enlightens the soul, life transforms into a journey of peace, purpose, and eternal bliss.
