Under ‘Aarogya’- The holistic health program of Divya Jyoti jagrati Sansthan(DJJS), a free ‘Ayurvedic Health checkup Camp’ was organized by DJJS Bengaluru at 8th Mile, Hesaraghatta road, T. Dasarahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka on 20th August 2017 to promote Ayurveda and sensitize masses on the effectiveness of Ayurveda as a natural course of complete health & well-being.
One week prior to camp, publicity was done through pamphlets distribution and SMS. On the day of camp, the registration of patients was started at 11am by DJJS volunteers. The eminent Ayurvedic expert Dr. Saumya and senior preacher of DJJS Sadhvi Preeti Bharti inaugurated the camp with the lamp lightening. In three hour long camp, more than 80 patients availed benefits in terms of free consultancy and diagnosis by Dr. Saumya along with her team for common ailments like diabetes, indigestion, back pain, arthritis, constipation, migraine, acidity, gastric problems etc. Special arrangements have been made in the camp for free Blood pressure and Blood sugar checkup. Well researched medicines of SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy were available for patients at concessional price.
The health camp was well coordinated by Sadhvi Prapoorna Bharti and Sadhvi Nishanka Bharti, the dedicated disciples of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj ji. Also, large number of health seekers of nearby localities visited to inquire and buy the well-researched ayurvedic products and medicines manufactured at SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy, Nurmahal in Punjab.
