Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) is a socio-spiritual organization involved in various social activities which impacts the human kind worldwide. Kamdhenu is one such program from DJJS which is centred on Indian Cow Breed Improvement & Conservation. For many years, DJJS is disseminating the information regarding the importance of Indian breed of cows all over India. They are working towards conservation and propagation of their right usage.
One such event 'Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela' was organized at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) from 10th to 12th March 2015 at PUSA Institute, New Delhi by State for Agriculture & Food Processing. DJJS actively participated in the event and put up the Kamdhenu exhibition. The honourable minister ‘Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan’ marked his presence to the Kamdhenu Exhibition Stall & took keen interest in Kamdhenu's mandate of promoting Indigenous breeds of cows through rigorous breed improvement program. Honourable minister also whole heartedly appreciated the cow based Ayurvedic medicines and herbal products of the Sansthan. The literature concerning the different activities conducted under this project was under display and distributed to create awareness and interest of the masses.
The Kamdhenu Exhibition successfully motivated & benefited thousands of the farmers, researchers & the people from the scientific community who had come to visit the agricultural fair from different parts of the country.
