Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the holistic health program ‘Aarogya’, organized विलक्षण योग शिविर - a one day empowering and energizing Yoga Camp at Guru Gobind Singh Park, Kotakpura Road in Muktsar, Punjab on 23rd July 2017. Yogacharya Shri Raj Kumar from the Sansthan along with his team undertook Yogasanas and Pranayama sessions in morning hours from 5am to 7am.

DJJS Muktsar organizes ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’

DJJS ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’ is a special camp which enumerates the significance and importance of ‘Yoga and Pranayama’; in overall healing of the body and attainment of perfect equilibrium and harmony. The shivir covers yogasans, pranayama, relaxation techniques, meditation as well as ayurvedic health care tips etc.

DJJS Muktsar organizes ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’

Over 270 people (140 men, 120 women & 10 children) participated in this yoga camp, wherein Yogacharya Shri Raj Kumar ji taught basic Yogasana like Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, Skandh Chalan, Pad Chalan, Shavasana, Dhanurasan, Vajrasan,etc and Pranayama techniques such as Naadi Shodhan, Bhastrika, Anuloma-Viloma, Kapalbhati, Bhramri. To create awareness about the health benefits and significance of yogic exercises and pranayama, Yogacharya ji educated people on how daily practice of Yoga and Pranayama along with meditation is important for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The session ended with Om chanting and recitation of mantras such as सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः and शांति पाठ (peace prayer) seeking health, peace and harmony for all.

On this occasion, eminent guests Mrs. Atinder Kaur Mansi (President Patanjali Mahila Yog Wing, Punjab), Mrs. Charanjeet Kaur (President Patanjali Mahila Yog Wing, Muktsar), Sh. Manohar Lal (Vice President Municipal Corporation, Muktsar), Sh. Narinder Bansal (Ex MC Muktsar), Sh. Mahinder Pal (Guru Govind Singh Welfare Society), and Sh. Suresh Jindal (Social Worker) graced the event by their presence and participation. Print media covered this event in ‘Dainik Jagran’ and ‘Dainik Savera’ newspapers.
