Shri Krishna Janamashtami Mahotsav marks the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is celebrated in great fervour by Hindus globally.
Over the years, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan has been celebrating Shri Krishna Janamashtami with innate zeal on a grand level. This year also the event was organised at different centres of DJJS, across India, including Jalandhar, Sunam, Dhilwan, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Pathankot, Patiala, Phillaur, SBS Nagar, and Tarn Taran. The event coordinated at these centres in the month of September, 2015, was marked by the presence of large number of volunteers and disciples and a great number of devotees, all coming together in the true festive spirit. The organisation has always been making conscientious endeavours to convey the ancient legacy of inspirations to the masses, and inculcate in them the invaluable divine endowments via a plethora of cultural festivals, Krishna Janamashtami being one of them.
The preacher-disciples of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji unfolded the deep spiritual meanings hidden in the divine acts of Lord Krishna through highly insightful discourses. These discourses, delivered under the prudent guidance of His Holiness, were eye-openers for the huge masses attending the program.
The realisation dawned upon the masses that the underlying essence in the divine Leelas of Lord Krishna were relevant not only in that era but hold paramount significance even in today's age. Practical examples citied by the preachers, revealed the importance of spirituality and its connection with our everyday life. People gained insights into, how to address problems of personal and social concern through the teachings of the Greatest Management Guru of all times, Lord Krishna.
The event proved to be a spiritual delight for the starving souls.
