On the sacred land of India, at the revered confluence of the holy rivers—Mother Ganga, Mother Yamuna, and Mother Saraswati in Prayagraj—unfolds the majestic Kumbh Mela, a grand festival of faith celebrated every 12 years. This is not just a festival, but a profound celebration deeply rooted in the timeless traditions of Indian culture, known as the Divya Kumbh. The Mahakumbh, a rare and extraordinary manifestation of the Kumbh Mela, occurs once every 144 years. This year, after a span of 144 years, the much-anticipated Mahakumbh took place from January 13 to February 26, 2025.

Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), a renowned organization that brought to life the profound essence of the Bhagavad Gita's aphorism - Gyanam Vigyan Sahitam (knowledge integrated with experiential wisdom) set up a grand camp at Mahakumbh 2025. Along with its spiritual, cultural, and social programs, DJJS provides seekers with the practical experience of Spirituality through Brahm-Gyan (the Eternal Science of God-Realization). The founder and head of DJJS, Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, rediscovered Brahm-Gyan in the present era, attained its direct experience, personally exemplified it. He then made this profound knowledge accessible and attainable to the masses. At the Divine MahaKumbh 2025, DJJS raised the revolutionary call, "Take the sangam dip (holy bath) into the triveni (confluence of 3 inner channels) of Ajna Chakra as well.” Operating on the foundation of Divine Vision of God, DJJS is transforming the negative imprints within the human, reshaping human consciousness and striving to cultivate individuals into their highest, most noble selves. Alongside its efforts in eradicating addiction, promoting environmental conservation and providing education and healthcare in underserved areas, DJJS is also committed to the empowerment and upliftment of women, from that of rural villages to urban cities.
Under its Women Empowerment Initiative ‘Santulan’, the organization DJJS hosted ‘NariSatyug Layegi’ Women Summit on 23rd January 2025 at its Mahakumbh camp in Prayagraj, located at Gangeshwar Bajrangdas Chauraha, Sector 9, near Amitabh Pullia, Govindpur. As proclaimed by Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji - "She will extend her divine contributions to the society at large and thereby a divine moment will come when womenfolk will bring forth the Golden Age." While many saints and seers have prophesied that the 21st century will be the era of women, Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji had made a step ahead proclamation in the 20th century that the 21st century will indeed be an epoch of Women but not only this, it will be Women who will be instrumental in bringing the dawn of Satyug, a New Era (Golden Age) too.

Shedding light on the program overview, the Global Head of Santulan, Sadhvi DeepikaBharti Ji, a daughter disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, stated - While the graph of women’s progress is rising, the graph of violence and crimes against women is also escalating. In such circumstances, it becomes imperative to reflect—are women truly being empowered? Perhaps not! In reality, the foundation of educational, economic, social, and political empowerment is Spiritual Empowerment. It is the same empowerment attained by Mata Parvati, through which She reached her full potential and became Goddess Durga. The same empowerment was achieved by Saint Meera Bai, Rani Lakshmibai, Brahmavadini Gargi, Maitreyi, Sulabha, Ghosha and many other Vedic women. With the blessings of Gurudev, nearly 6.5 lakh girls and women in India have been spiritually empowered through Brahm Gyan and are advancing on the path of holistic empowerment. Among them, 60,000 girls and women are playing a leading role as enthusiastic volunteers across the country under the Santulan initiative. The organization has around 6,000 knowledgeable and enlightened Sannyasi Sadhvis who, through DJJS ashrams spread across India— from Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu and Gujarat to Assam— are working tirelessly to restore the dignity and honor of women, reminiscent of the glorious history of India. Sadhvi Deepika Bharti Ji further highlighted that 80% of the management responsibilities within Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan are carried out by these Vedic women— the Sadhvi disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji— who are setting a benchmark of empowered leadership and holistic management in the modern era.
The Nari Satyug Layegi Summit set forth numerous examples of spiritually empowered women from ancient times. The life of Rani Lakshmibai and her journey from struggle to triumph was beautifully depicted through a musical rendition of the famous poem "Bundele Harbolo ke MukhSe..." accompanied by a detailed interpretation. This powerful presentation by the SadhviDisciples of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji instilled enthusiasm and inspiration in the audience.
The Women Empowerment and Gender Equality initiative ‘Santulan’ of DJJS under the stewardship of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is running with the aim of reinstating ‘status of women’ as in the Vedic times. Santulan has been incessantly working towards alleviating women from vicious cycle of subordination through Spiritual Empowerment, and eventually carving them as 21st Century Vedic Women.
