Gita Utsav was a magnificent event held at Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s (DJJS) campsite at MahaKumbh, Prayagraj on 31st January 2025. Conducted under the banner of Gita-O-Logy, PEACE Program's wisdom series, the event was graced by Shri Sourabh Raaj Jain, Actor and Model, as the Chief Guest. He is known for playing Lord Krishna in Star Plus' Mahabharat TV series.
In a momentous felicitation ceremony, Shri Sourabh Raaj Jain was presented with a symbolic Third Eye memento by Swami Narendranand ji, Global Head and Secretary, DJJS. He was also presented with DJJS literature by Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti ji, Principal Coordinator, PEACE Program, and DJJS Antardrishti products (made by visually impaired beneficiaries) by Sadhvi Dr. Nidhi Bhart ji, Co-principal Coordinator, PEACE Program.
The first session, Krishnobics on Gita Vs Gyan Yog, Bhakti Yog, Buddhi Yog, was headed by Sadhvi Ruchika Bharti ji, Facilitator, PEACE Program. Krishna Bhakts celebrated their love and devotion through rhythmic movements in a dance fest, along with imbibing hidden lessons from Gita.
Sadhvi Dr. Nidhi Bharti ji held an intriguing session on the psychological makeup of mind with the help of interesting activities. She explained the overloaded state of human mind and a dire need to reduce the intensity of thoughts, while also decoding the complex algorithm of Gita. All in all, this session was focused on working on the evolution of mind.
Thereafter, a KrishnArjun Podcast was held wherein Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti ji and Shri Sourabh Raaj Jain addressed common issues faced by people on all fronts of life. Sadhvi ji scientifically explained the lessons by Lord Krishna through enlightening activities and demonstrations.
This was followed by Krishnotsav, a vibrant session headed by Sadhvi Manimala Bharti ji, Facilitator, PEACE Program. Devotees played Holi with Shri Sourabh Raaj Jain and got immersed in Krishna Bhakti with joyful Kirtan presented by the musical troupe of DJJS.
Addressing the media, Shri Sourabh Raaj Jain appreciated the creative content format of Gita Utsav which aimed at spreading ancient wisdom in the modern context.
It is also noteworthy that the event was enthusiastically attended by massive audience from Prayagraj’s universities and institutions, along with civil services aspirants and thousands ofKrishna devotees.
