26 August 2025, New Delhi: Manthan–Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), the social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), was invited by Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School, Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi through the Vidyanjali Portal of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to conduct a Sanskarshala Value-based Education Workshop for its students.
Staying aligned with its mission of nurturing holistic growth and value-based education, Manthan–SVK organized an awareness workshop on “Ill Effects of Drug Abuse” for students of 9th and 10th standard. The session aimed to sensitize young minds about the dangers of addiction and empower them to make responsible life choices.
The workshop began with an interactive Balloon Activity, where students contemplated on their dreams and the obstacles they might face to achieve it—such as procrastination, fear, and addictions—that can hinder them. Through a short film, real-life stories, and a live demonstration, the harmful impact of drugs on health, intellect, and career was vividly illustrated. Students also enacted role plays on situations like peer pressure and resisting addiction, making the session engaging and relatable.
Concluding with a collective pledge, students resolved to stay away from drugs, prioritize health, and inspire others with the message “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life”. Expressing his appreciation for the initiative, Shri Anil Kumar, Assistant Director Academics, Salwan Education Trust and Director, and Ms. Sakshi, Teacher & Session Coordinator, Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School, said, “Such workshops play a vital role in guiding students towards responsible choices and building a strong value-based foundation.”
Through such initiatives, Manthan–SVK, under the divine guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, continues its unwavering mission of nurturing morally awakened, culturally rooted, and responsible young citizens, thereby contributing to true nation-building.
