20 August 2025, New Delhi: Manthan–Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), the social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), was invited by EDMC Nigam Pratibha Vidyalaya, Kanti Nagar, New Delhi, through the Vidyanjali Portal of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to conduct a Sanskarshala Value-based Education Workshop for its students.

Staying aligned with its mission of nurturing holistic growth and value-based education, Manthan–SVK conducted an interactive workshop titled ‘Pause the Screen, Play Your Life’ for the students of Class 4 and 5. The workshop was thoughtfully structured with a sequence of engaging activities to help children reflect on the impact of excessive screen use.
The program began with a lively warm-up activity, followed by a fun-filled dance game – ‘Statue Game: Pause the Screen’, symbolizing the importance of mindful screen breaks. Next, in a creative drawing activity, students illustrated their thoughts on the theme “When I pause the screen, I will…”. This was followed by an expressive role play, facilitated by Manthan–SVK volunteers, where children enacted situations demonstrating how excessive screen time can negatively affect health and well-being.

To deepen understanding, a short video on screen addiction was presented, making the concept more relatable and impactful. The session concluded with a Pledge, where students resolved to use screens wisely, prioritize family and outdoor activities, and remain connected with nature.
The young participants responded with great enthusiasm, sharing that the workshop was both enjoyable and eye-opening. Teachers and staff members appreciated the initiative, acknowledging its importance in cultivating mindful digital habits and instilling strong value-based foundations in children.
Through such initiatives, Manthan–SVK, under the divine guidance of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, continues its unwavering commitment to shaping morally awakened and culturally rooted young minds, thereby contributing to true nation-building.
