In a heartfelt tribute to the timeless strength of mothers and the transformative role of women in society, DJJS Santulan, the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, organised a special event commemorating International Mother’s Day at Vijayraje Auditorium, Dungarpur, Rajasthan on 18 May 2025.

Conducted under DJJS Santulan’s annual monthly campaign Matri Shakti Tubhyam Namah, it brought together mothers, youth and individuals from diverse professional arenas for a thought-provoking dialogue on motherhood, women empowerment, gender sensitivity, and value-based societal transformation.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by eminent dignitaries including Dr. Monika Parmar, HOD, Department of Gynaecology, Dungarpur Government Hospital; Dr. Aditi Gothi, Assistant Professor, Government Medical College; Ms. Nidhi Sharma, Adhyaksh, Durga Vahini (RSS); Dr. Nilesh Gothi, Paediatrician; Mr. Prakash Bhatt, Adhyaksh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad; and Ms. Anshumala Panchal from Matri Shakti Group. Through interactive activities, artistic presentations, panel discussions, and reflective conversations, the event highlighted the often invisible and unacknowledged labour of mothers, the emotional and professional pressures mothers navigate daily, and the urgent need for supportive, equitable, and emotionally aware family structures. Lives and tales of Rajmata Jijabai, Queen Madalsa, Suniti, were shared as case studies that reflected exemplary models of motherhood, as mothers who nurtured visionaries, upheld dharma, and shaped the moral compass of generations.

“Hey Nari, Tu Ab Maa Ban, Ramanaa Nahi” an original lyrical composition by Santulan, effectively reflected the evocative message to contemporary mothers, inspiring them to rise above limiting stereotypes and embrace their powerful role as nurturers of values, culture, and future generations.
Addressing the gathering, Sadhvi Chinmaya Bharti, disciple of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, emphasised that true women empowerment goes beyond economic participation or social visibility and must include spiritual awakening, emotional resilience, and inner transformation. Sharing the vision of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, she explained that through Brahmagyan, the Eternal Science of Self-Realisation, women can awaken their inner potential and emerge as catalysts of positive change who nurture harmonious families, ethically grounded children, and a compassionate society.
Under the leadership of Sadhvi Deepika Bharti Ji, Global Head of DJJS Santulan and world-renowned exponent of Ram Katha in both Hindi and English, the initiative continues to work extensively at the grassroots level through community outreach campaigns focused on holistic development of women.
Guided by the divine inspiration of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan continues to advance its mission of universal peace, equality, and brotherhood through multidimensional social initiatives spanning education, gender equality, environment conservation, health awareness, disaster relief, drug abuse eradication, and prisoner reformation.
