Punjab Dairy Development Board, Chandigarh administered Dairy training Center (Phagwara) organized a training session for its 45 veterinary trainees. Under the guidance of Dr. Inderjeet Singh (Director, Punjab Dairy Development Board,), sh. Ram Lubhaya (In charge, PTC) and Sh. Chaman Lal Mehra (technical Officer) the trainees visited Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan's "Kamdhenu Gaushala" Indigenous Cattle Conservatory Gaushala. They had gathered first hand information about various indigenous breeds of cattle and obtained training on the methods to raise them.

In Gaushala they were thrilled to observe and learn about the beautiful indigenous sahiwal, Gir, Tharparkar And Kankrej breed of cattle. Knowing and realizing their worth they pledged to raise and propagate indigenous cattle's at their places. They further reiterated that we would like to be healthy drinking A2 milk of desi cows and not to get sick drinking the milk produced by cross bred HF and jersey cows.
The veterinary trainees further learnt about feed management, green fodder preparation, milking arrangements system, the hygienic setup and selfless service principle towards management of the kamdhenu gaushala and were quiet motivated in this regard.
