Sanskarshala is one of its kind monthly workshops that are organized for children aged 4 to 12 years by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s (DJJS) holistic education program, Manthan- Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK).
This year’s theme of Sanskarshala is engaging for many reasons, the foremost is that each month’s Sanskarshala is in collaboration with one of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s social initiatives. The theme for the April 2024 workshop was in collaboration with the social initiative Sanrakshan – the nature conservation program of DJJS. SANRAKSHAN– is a social initiative dedicated to instilling a sense of responsibility towards nature conservation.
By fostering a deep connection with nature from an early age, Sanrakshan Sanskarshala empowered children to become future stewards of the environment, advocating for sustainable practices and biodiversity conservation. Through interactive workshops including hands-on activities, and immersive experiences in natural environments, Sanrakshan Sanskarshala aimed to inspire young minds to appreciate and protect the natural world.
About 90 Sanrakshan Sanskarshalas were conducted that benefited approximately 3000 children across all the DJJS branches as well as in various schools in our country namely,

Through engaging storytelling, the sessions emphasized eco-consciousness and various methods of conserving the elements of nature. Volunteers also showcased unique farming techniques and electricity conservation through captivating videos and advocated for a zero-waste lifestyle, adhering to waste management principles. The workshop not only instilled eco-awareness but also empowered children to discover the value of resourcefulness and conservation. Guided by live instructions, children enthusiastically crafted recycled creations, showcasing their passion for sustainable practices and artistic expression.
