Since the time immemorial, Lord Krishna has been a subject of inquisitiveness all over the humanity and we enjoy listening or watching playful divine acts on life of Krishna and listening Gita sermon in which amidst the war of Mahabharata, victory of good over evil is celebrated. Though we love to know about Him, but several questions often crops up in our mind whether Krishna was incarnation of Lord Vishnu, what could be the purpose of mass destruction through Mahabharata war and why his parents had to suffer at the hands of cruel Kansa? Why is it that so many verses of Bhagwat Gita were said? Why didn’t Krishna show Arjuna his true form to start with? What is the divine message behind these Leelas (playful act) of Krishna? These questions often bother us and we are not able to fathom the divine message.
The people of Kurukshetra-Haryana experienced the spectacle of spirituality as DJJS organized Shri Krishan Katha to answer all these queries. The event took place from 5th – 11th June, 2019 with the Mangal Kalash Yatra followed by the recitation of Hymns from Vedas (the most ancient Hindu Scriptures). Often in his spiritual discourses, His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and convener of DJJS) portrays Krishna as a multi-faceted personality, who is Omniscient, Omnipotent & Omnipresent.
Sadhvi Vaishnavi Bharti Ji, disciple of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, flawlessly narrated Katha with innumerable shlokas and explained that every Leela of Lord Krishna is infused with magnificent and thought-provoking secrets. It included the most comprehensive collection of stories about the life of Krishna, showing him in all the stages & conditions of human life. Their underlying meanings were relevant not only in that era but also hold infallible significance in today's age. Lord Krishna illuminated the divine knowledge of 'Brahm Gyan' which is imperative for one to become socially and morally responsible. The modern era also needs the nourishment of this divine technique to set free from evils and attain the stage of social transformation. The soul-stirring discourse was accompanied by melodious & soulful bhajans which left the audiences spellbound.
Though the programme ended on 11th June, 2019, but its divine message left an indelible mark on the mind of the congregation as it explained the journey of becoming an enlightened human from just being a human. The event also included various exhibitions like DJJS’s Social Initiatives and Akhand Gyan (Monthly Spiritual Magazine) where mass message of Brahm Gyan is driving the message of World peace.
