Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the blissful guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized seven days Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Barnala, Punjab from 19th to 25th March 2023. The Katha was aimed at deciphering the spiritual messages embedded in each word and divine play of Lord Krishna and making the devotees aware of it. Katha Orator, Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji beautifully interpreted the essence and science behind ‘Divine Knowledge’ and encouraged the audience to follow the path of religion and righteousness.
Sadhvi Ji implied that Lord Krishna is a perfect personification of divinity, to this day billions of people pray to him, chant his name, meditate on his form, and try to put his teachings into practice. Across the eras, his life has inspired a treasure house of poetry, music, painting, sculpture, and other fine arts. A child, a brother, a charioteer, a warrior, a disciple, a guru, a cowherd, a messenger, the beloved of the gopis; throughout his life, Lord Krishna enacted many roles. Yet never forgetting that they were just the roles and that his true nature was eternal, ever blissful consciousness. He taught the divine method of Meditation ‘Divine knowledge’ to all his disciples, gopis through which they were able to remain detached and embarked upon the path of salvation.
Sadhvi Ji unraveled what Lord Krishna says, “Without thinking of anyone else, people who worship Me alone, to those devotees permanently attached to me, I bring good things they lack and protect the good things they possess.” Sadhvi Ji said that Lord Krishna bestowed Arjuna with Divine Knowledge (Brahm-Gyan) and made him experience the Almighty within his soul. Only through this eternal technique, one could experience God practically and establish a connection with Lord. It’s only through this Divine knowledge which made devotee to follow the path of dharma and divine instructions of Perfect Spiritual Master. Lord explains that we should be free from all attachments while still maintaining loving relationships and upholding our family responsibilities.
Lord Krishna didn’t incarnate in human form just for the sake of a particular section of society. He showed everyone the path towards spiritual progress. The life-changing lessons stimulated the thoughts of the audience and the soul-soothing devotional songs enlightened the hearts of all.
