In the current wave of modernity and materialistic civilisation, the cumulative effect of the impact of technological advancements on an individual is so much that he is turning sick day by day at a rapid pace. Like an epidemic, it has spread far and wide and is extending influence on the minds of people with great speed. Accordingly, it has now become very important to secure mental health along-with the physical health.
To convey this rich resource of knowledge of the ancient legacy in form of spiritual enlightenment to the masses and inculcate in them the inevitable divine endowments for mental peace, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (“DJJS”) organised 7 days Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Allahabad, U.P. from 16th to 22nd September, 2018.
The spiritual orator of the katha and disciple of revered Gurudev, Sadhvi Bhagyashri Bharti Ji revealed that Lord Krishna walked the soil to annihilate the philosophies of world-shunning spirituality and of world-grasping materialism. He established on earth the “Dharmarajya,” the Kingdom of the Inner Law. He restored the true spirit of Kshatriya heroism, motivated not by human ego, but by Divine Will, making man a devoted and active instrument of the Supreme. He was the Yogeshwar and at the same time, the embodiment of pure love. Each and every divine sport of His life is infused with sublimity and profound secrets to guide the world and lead them to the path of spirituality thereby achieving the ultimate goal of life.
The orator explained that pursuit of affluence does not lie in hoarding up materialistic affluence but the affluence of self-realization. With God being the source and origin of everyone, we should necessarily strive to attain Him and merge our individual consciousness into His cosmic consciousness. Undoubtedly, God is present everywhere, but His perception and realization becomes a viable proposition only by entering the beatific portal of our inner consciousness, its specific source, and, for sure, by no other outer means. The Bible says, ‘What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul.’ That is why, it is said that the wealth of the soul is the only true wealth. It is soul alone that raises us to nobility. Worldly happiness may attain its zenith or its nadir, but only the happiness gained from God stabilises our restless heart and brings peace to our tormented soul.
To accomplish this, an inevitable requisite is - Divine Eye! Only this eye's capacitance is to gaze and concentrate on the divine realms of the spiritual heart. The two physical eyes we posses have a range limited only to the material world. Only on taking refuge of a Perfect Master, one can be blessed with Brahm Gyan and experience the soul-force in his inner world in the form of Light. The Katha was thus concluded successfully thereby delivering the message of Spiritual enlightenment to the masses.
