“Deem yourself as valuable”-a basic preaching which is missed out by almost every parent raising a girl child, leads to foregoing of value and dignity in future. Negotiating for value and importance while being ignorant of its fundamental rights and innate potential will lead nowhere but a deadlock. DJJS Santulan recognized the need of the hour to educate and illuminate the subordinated gender first to further get valued by society and introduced the concept of 'Unity of Women' under its ongoing campaign “Tu hai Shakti” where it endeavours to educate women of their worth, motivates to unite and enlightens with the true essence of empowerment. The workshop sights edifying presentation on various forms of prevalent crime against women ushering to societal dawn, supported by a riveting skit to showcase one of the numerous. Also, it objects to disseminate knowledge about unexplored women flair that tags her as important, by means of discourse, interactive sessions and issue based activities. The aforementioned also puts light on the otherwise ignored aspect-women health and witnesses the demonstration by Santulan volunteers.
