Santulan, the gender equality and women empowerment initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), under the guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, announced the launch of Tu Hai Shakti 2.0- Punjab Chapter on 2nd Nov 2025 at the Balwant Gargi Auditorium, Rose Garden, Bathinda.
The new chapter builds on the strong foundation of Tu Hai Shakti 1.0, introduced in 2016 as a yearlong nationwide campaign against sex-selective abortions, and was launched by the Hon'ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Sh. J. P. Nadda in presence of Hon’ble MP and National Secretary BJP Sh. Maheish Girri. Over time, it expanded into a transformative movement spreading across 14 states, driving change through multi-format outreach programs benefitting lakhs of women and families. Its resounding success established it as a flagship national campaign against gender-based violence and discrimination, and today it’s hailed as India’s leading women-empowerment movement. Following the rollout of Tu Hai Shakti 2.0 with the Delhi-NCR chapter, the launch of the Punjab Chapter in Bathinda marks the next major step in strengthening community awareness, advocacy, and action for gender equality across the region.
The event was opened with lighting of the ceremonious lamp by the distinguished guests from diverse fields; Miss Poonam Singh, ADC Bathinda, Sh. Sarup Chand Singla, District President, BJP, Sh. Gurprem Lehri, Bureau Chief, Dainik Jagran, Arjit Goel, MD, Paris City, Sh. Jaswant Singh, MD, JB Event Management, Dr Kanwaljeet Kauda, Urologist, AIIMS, Sh. Deepak Singla, Kanhaiya Advertising, and Swami Gyaneshanand Ji, Swami Umeshanand Ji, Sadhvi Tapasvini Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Shubhra Bharti Ji, disciples of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
The grand launch of Tu Hai Shakti 2.0-Punjab Chapter was declared by esteemed guests, Shri Narayan Garg, President, Sheller Association, Shri Amar Bajaj, Secretary, Shri Vijay Pal Arora, GM, Vardhaman Polytechs, Sh. Fateh Pal Singh, Deputy Chief Engineer. Attendees expressed their solidarity with the mission and vision of DJJS Santulan and shared that they left with a renewed sense of vigor and purpose.
The audience was enthralled by the electrifying music concert presented by the band of Sanyasin Sadhvis, whose renditions seamlessly blended valor with devotion. Classical dance performances invoking Maa Durga’s strength, along with compelling play enactments by selfless volunteers, added depth and resonance to the experience.
Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji and Sadhvi Tapaswini Bharti Ji delivered a powerful call for social transformation in their enlightening discourses. Echoing the divine ideology of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Founder & Head of DJJS, they emphasized that women must invoke the Adishakti within through spiritual awakening to evolve into absolute and holistic embodiments of empowerment, akin to Goddess Durga. They highlighted that spiritual awakening is the most powerful and indeed the sole solution to establishing true gender equilibrium, for it naturally cultivates empathy, compassion, and mutual respect within society.
The Tu Hai Shakti 2.0, Punjab Chapter in Bathinda will be further driven through two dedicated campaigns, Sashakt Nari Samriddh Parivar and Putrah Putren Duhita Samaa. These two campaigns are in extension of the ceaseless endeavors of DJJS Santulan at grassroot level to empower women by eradicating the deep-seated gender and cultural prejudices embedded in the social fabric of society, with a special focus on the rural and disadvantaged areas.
Moving beyond conventional empowerment models, DJJS Santulan works at the fundamental level, awakening women spiritually. Over the last two decades, it has reached millions through mass awareness campaigns, sensitisation workshops, and leadership programmes. Today, more than 6.5 lakh women and girls across rural and urban India are empowered to lead with confidence, dignity, and values and advancing gender equality and inclusive development in alignment with United Nation’s SDG goals (SDG-5).
Under the divine guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, DJJS continues its mission of establishing universal peace, equality, and brotherhood through multidimensional social reform programmes spanning gender sensitisation, education, drug abuse eradication, environment conservation, community health, disaster relief, and prisoner reformation.
