Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) DJJS Santulan, the gender equality and women empowerment initiative of, under the guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, on 2nd Nov 2025 in Balwant Gargi Auditorium in Bathinda, announced the launch of the second edition of its flagship campaign Tu Hai Shakti 2.0.
The event opened with lighting of the ceremonious lamp graciously by the distinguished guests Ms. Poonam Singh, ADC Bathinda; Sh. Sarup Chand Singla, District President, BJP; Sh. Gurprem Lehri, Bureau Chief, Dainik Jagran; Arjit Goel, MD, Paris City; Sh. Jaswant Singh, MD, JB Event Management; Dr Kanwaljeet Kauda, Urologist, AIIMS; Sh. Deepak Singla, Kanhaiya Advertising; and in the august presence of Swami Gyaneshanand Ji, Swami Umeshanand Ji, Sadhvi Tapasvini Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji, Sadhvi Shubhra Bharti Ji, disciples of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
The audience was enthralled by the electrifying music concert presented by the band of Sanyasin Sadhvis, the renditions evoked sentiments blended with valour and devotion. Presentation of classical choreography invoking Maa Durga’s strength, along with compelling play enactments by selfless volunteers of DJJS Santulan, added depth and resonance to the experience.
Sadhvi Jayanti Bharti Ji and Sadhvi Tapaswini Bharti Ji delivered a powerful call for social transformation in their enlightening discourses. Echoing the revolutionary ideology of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Founder & Head of DJJS, they emphasized that women must invoke the Adishakti within through spiritual awakening to evolve into absolute and holistic embodiments of empowerment, akin to Goddess Durga. They highlighted that spiritual awakening is the most powerful and indeed the sole solution to establish true gender equilibrium, for it naturally cultivates empathy, compassion, and mutual respect within society.
The grand launch of Tu Hai Shakti 2.0 Bathinda Chapter was declared by esteemed guests, Shri Narayan Garg, President, Sheller Association, Shri Amar Bajaj, Secretary, Shri Vijay Pal Arora, GM, Vardhaman Polytechs, Sh. Fateh Pal Singh, Deputy Chief Engineer. Attendees expressed their solidarity with the mission and vision of DJJS Santulan and shared that they left with a renewed sense of vigor and purpose.
Tu Hai Shakti 1.0, launched in 2016 in New Delhi in the presence of then Hon'ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Shri. J. P. Nadda, catapulted from a campaign against sex-selective abortions into a nationwide movement spanning 14 states. Lakhs of beneficiaries impacted through diverse outreach programs; it is now recognised as a flagship campaign of DJJS Santulan and one of India’s leading women-empowerment movements.
Following the rollout of Tu Hai Shakti 2.0 with the Delhi-NCR chapter, the launch of the Bathinda Chapter marks the next phase in strengthening community awareness, advocacy, and action for identifying and uprooting the fundamental factors causing gender-based discrimination and violence, sex-selective abortions across the region.
To implement the campaign structurally and strategically and ensuring focused grassroots outreach and impact, DJJS Santulan in Bathinda has adopted 7 Mandis(towns) including; Pucho Mandi, Goniana Mandi, Rama Mandi, Maur Mandi, Rampura Mandi, Phul Mandi, Tapa Mandi; and 60 Pinds(villages), including: Chauke, Ram Nagar, Kanakwal, Kotra Kora, Mehraj, Dion, Aanadghar Phul, Giddar, Bhisiyana, Ghanda Vanna, Baliyanwali, Baga, Rampura, Nawn, Khemuana, Harraipur Khiyali, Kotli Kalan, Gill Patti, Goniana Naiyan Wala, Peer Khana Basti, Ghuman Kalan, Kotli, Yatri, Chathe Wala, Marhi, Dhinger, Natt Bahgher, Jodhpur Pakhar Chehla Wali, Buraj Mansa, Ghaatwali, Ram Saran, Bangi Deepa etc.
Moving beyond conventional empowerment models, DJJS Santulan works at the fundamental level, i.e. a woman’s mindset, transforming it with the instrument of spirituality. Over two decades, it has empowered over 6 lakhs women across India and abroad from underprivileged to elite backgrounds alike.
