In the ongoing series of events at Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj, representatives of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan participated in the ‘SHE- Global summit’ held on 28 January 2019, where delegates from various religious organisations, and dignitaries from around the world were present. The event was also graced by Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha - Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, Hon’ble Shri Satyapal Singh Ji – Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Hon’ble Minister of WCD Uttar Pradesh – Smt. Rita Bahuguna Joshi Ji and also Hon’ble M.P. Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi Ji. Also, Ms. Alexandra Westerbeek - Chief Communication Advocacy and partnerships UNICEF, ICO, Ms. Sue Coates – Deputy Executive Director, WSSCC, Former PM and President of Bosnia – Haris Silajžîć and first lady Selma Muhedinovíć, Emily Deschaine – Acting Head, WSSCC and many more global representatives presented their views on gender equality and the rights of women.
