With an objective to artfully showcase the core tenets of ‘sanatan dharma’, emphasizing peace, compassion, and universal brotherhood, on the auspicious occasion of ‘Mahakumbh 2025’, ‘Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’ organized a celestial confluence of devotion, art, and spiritual enlightenment- ‘Divya Jyoti ChalchitramSeries1’- a mesmerizing 'Natyotsava- Theatrical Exclusive' at Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh on January 22, 2025. The series featured a play called “ॐ द्यौः शांति” that seamlessly blended the insightfulness of Vedic teachings with captivating drama. The play enthralled a huge gathering of devotees and spiritual seekers. DJJS, which is founded & headed by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, has been a pillar of sanatandharma's eternal values under His visionary guidance. Through its powerful narrative and profound spiritual teachings, ‘ॐ द्यौः शांति’ was an attempt to inspire audiences to embark on the journey of self-realization and embrace divine knowledge as the ultimate means to personal and global harmony.
Truly, the theme of the play, ‘ॐ द्यौः शांति’, delved into the core principles of ‘sanatan dharma’, emphasizing the transformative power of true worship. The performance included selfless volunteers from DJJS who performed soul-stirring and resonant with authenticity and devotion. The devotional hymns and chants were not only melodious but also spiritually uplifting.
The stage came alive with “Om Dhyauh Shanti”, a magnificent theatrical portrayal of the epic battle between Goddess Durga and the Demon Durgam. Drawing inspiration from the Devi Bhagwat Purana, the play narrated how Durgam’s penance to Lord Brahma granted him the Vedas and immense power, which he misused to weaken the devas, leading to a devastating famine and drought.
Through its narrative, the play portrayed humanity's constant pursuit of inner peace and the spiritual solutions that are enshrined in the ancient Vedic scriptures. The narrative portrayed the essence of 'Brahm Gyan', a science of self-realization that forms the foundation of 'sanatan dharma' in a beautiful way.
