अज्ञान तिमिरान्धस्य ज्ञानाञ्जन शलाकया । चक्षुरुन्मीलितं येन तस्मै श्री गुरवे नमः ॥
The above shloka says: A Guru can save us from the clutter of ignorance (darkness) by imparting us the supreme knowledge. I offer my salutations to such a Guru.
Guru-Shishya parampara has been the culture of ancient India where Vedas and Puranas were the foundation of one's education system. It was so strong in its basic principles that even today's modern science fails to counter it. To bring the Vedic values back into our education system and energise our life system, DJVM (Divya Jyoti Vedic Mandir) has been established by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji. DJVM imparts cultural and ethical values of our ancient scriptures to the seekers of true knowledge.
To take forward this noble initiative, DJVM has organised its first offline session of "Gyananjana Shalakaya" at DJJS, Ludhiana, Punjab on 17th May 2022. In this session, a group revision of Rudrashdhyayi commonly known as RudriPath was done along with the telicast of new audio-visual posted on youtube channel DJJS WORLD. DJVM volunteers took up live demonstrations of places of articulation (उच्चारण स्थान), created awareness on various social media handles of DJVM and DJJS and also showecased the testimonials of DJVM vedpathis.
The session was addressed by Sadhvi Deepa Bharti ji and Sadhvi Kapila Bharti Ji. It was indeed a very energetic and insightful session for all the participants as they were able to dig deeper into our roots and feel our culture and its glorious indefinite history. It was a 3 hour programme which was concluded by one to one doubt clearing session on Mantra chanting and sanskrit grammer followed by divya prasadam.
