To promote traditional methods of Ayurvedic Treatment and create awareness amongst masses on the effectiveness of Ayurveda as a natural course of complete health & well-being, DJJS Tarn Taran branch of Punjab organized one day ‘Mega Ayurvedic Health checkup & consultation Camp’ in the premises of ashram itself at Purani Dana Mandi, Muradpur Road, Tarn Taran on 30th of September 2018.

One week prior to camp, publicity was done through pamphlets distribution, hoardings & local newspapers by the volunteers of DJJS Tarn Taran. The chief guest Dr. Dharam Pal Agnihotri (Halka.Tarn Taran MLA Congress) inaugurated the camp along with other eminent guests Smt. Sarabjeet Kaur Bath (Dist. President, BJP), Sh. Mangal Das Munim (Dist. General Secretary, Congress), Sh. Sandeep Kumar Sonu Dode (Block Pradhan, Congress), Surjeet Ahuja (Social worker), Advocate Adesh Agnihotri, Sh. Manoj Agnihotri (President, NSUI) and DJJS’s preachers Swami Gurushananand and Swami Ranjeetanand graced the event by their presence. On this occasion, Dr. Dharam Pal Agnihotri, while addressing the audience, thanked the organization and appreciated its efforts for providing Ayurvedic treatments to the reach of general masses, thus helping in creating a disease free society. Also, Dr. Parminder Singh Modgil generated awareness about the ancient system of Ayurvedic Treatment and its benefits. He said that the ayurvedic medicines are mainly prepared from herbs and plants, thus contains no harmful ingredients and can be used safely with no side effects. DJJS preacher, Sadhvi Manendra Bharti elaborated on the importance & benefits of Ayurvedic medicines and natural products for the wellness of human beings to the gathering of more than 1800 people.

An eminent & well experienced team of Ayurvedic doctors from Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ayurvedic Treatment Centre, Nurmahal - Dr. Parminder Singh Modgil, Dr. Jai Prakash, Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and Dr. Harpreet provided free consultancy and diagnosis to the registered patients. More than 378 patients reaped benefits in the form of diagnosis, consultation and ayurvedic medicines for ailments like  asthma, diabetes, paralysis, back pain, skin allergies, stress, general weakness, arthritis, constipation, migraine, acidity, gastric problems, obesity etc. Special arrangements have been made in the camp for free Blood pressure and Blood sugar checkup. Well researched medicines of SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy were available for patients at concessional price. A large number of health seekers of nearby localities visited to inquire and buy the well-researched ayurvedic products and medicines manufactured at SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy.
