Rudrapur (Uttrakhand): The Gender Equality Program ‘Santulan’ of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan running under the divine guidance of the founder & head of the organization – His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized a sensitizing devotional evening “Nari Tu Narayani” in the City Club of Rudrapur on 29th Dec 19. The event started with lighting of the auspicious lamp by Sh. Raj Kumar Tukral (MLA), Sh. Niraj Khairwal (DM) & Swami Umeshanand Ji (Representative, DJJS). Sadhvi Garima Bhart Ji moderated the session and discussed about the increasing concerns for women safety & empowerment. She also shed light on how Santulan has been working across the nation with a mandate of eliminating all forms of discrimination and violence against women.
In the course of mesmerizing devotional songs dedicated to the emancipation of womenfolk from the clutches of subordination and thereby celebrating the rich old history of status of women in ancient India, Sadhvi Ji also delineated the concept of exploring the unexplored dimension of power within each woman and introduced spiritual awakening as the only methodology to explore, discover and thus master the same.
