Shri Krishna Katha is a medium of preaching the orations of Lord Krishna derived from our ancient scriptures including Bhagavad Gita. Lord Krishna proclaimed, “Whenever virtue subsides and wickedness prevails, I manifest myself. To establish virtue, to destroy evil, to save the good I come from Yuga to Yuga.” Keeping his promise once again, Lord showered his divine presence in the form of Krishna Katha organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) in Jalandhar, Punjab from 25th to 29th Dec, 2019.
Sadhvi Tripada Bharti Ji, preacher disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and head of DJJS), exemplified numerous meaningful tales from the history of Shri Krishna and explained how they impacted the life of a common man. Just the way Lord Krishna used to protect his devotees, Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji in this era is securing his devotees by providing them Divine Knowledge (Brahm Gyan). His holiness unshackles human beings from emotions like rage, egoism and negativity which have made them their hostages.
Brahm Gyan teaches us to treat pleasure and pain, gain and loss, victory and defeat as alike. It is ultimate tool that helps to change the perspective towards the world we live in. During their sojourn stay in this world, mankind should lead a life full of ethics, true and free from worldly yearnings. Few episodes from the lifespan of Krishna illustrate true sense of morality and courage. Sadhvi Ji told that Shri Krishna was born to Devaki in a prison cell where she was captivated by king Kansa. Being sneaked, he was later raised by his foster parents Nanda and Yashoda. In spite of number of adversities in his life, he always smiled and dealt through them with a grin on a face. He led a life of perpetual bliss thereby taught us to be happy and not let the circumstances overpower us. He preached to embrace the hardships with a smile and be calm and composed even during the unpleasant situations.
The ambience of Katha was further augmented with melodious and meaningful devotional songs connecting the audience at soul level. The event served the holy purpose of guiding souls towards the practical experience of Lord. The well-designed combination of bhajans and the Katha by Sadhvi Ji held the audience together. The number of attendees increased with each passing day. The Katha ended with hawan which witnessed the presence of a large number of people. The event was overall very successful.
