Under the Divine guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, head and founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, a magnificent 7-day Shrimad Bhagwat Katha program was organized at the world’s biggest congregation Kumbh Mela 2019 from 6th to 12th Feb 2019. Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji as the orator of the katha along with the team of musicians rendered a spectacular narration of the pious Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran that commenced with the recitation of Vedic Hymns in Sanskrit and Humble Prayer in the Lotus feet of Lord Krishna. The katha event was covered by various print and electronic media. The D-live telecast of this 7-day katha event was shown on Sanskar Channel from 7th to 13th Feb.
The learned Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji elucidated that Lord Krishna reveals in Bhagwat Gita the transcendental mystery of the science of the relationship with the Supreme, the science that is called “Brahm Gyan” or Divine Knowledge. Lord Krishna explains- “this material world which we perceive through your mind, speech, eyes, ears and other senses is an illusory creation that one imagines to be real due to the influence of Maya. We should know that all the objects of the material senses are temporary”, thus enabling obscure minds to realize the real purpose of life. It is only in human form that the soul can attain liberation. However, even after attaining this precious opportunity people do not engage in the activities which can take them to their goal.
Sadhvi Ji articulated various acts or Leelas of Lord Krishna in context of modern world. She presented the resemblance of events prevailing today and during Lord’s reign. A king named Paundrak fabricated an entire alternate version of Lord in which he had arrived in the world with four arms and an Implement of Vishnu in each of them. He also commanded the sole right over the famed weapons of Lord and forced people to believe him as Supreme Personality of Godhead. This can be the related with today’s circumstances wherein we have lot of organizations and self-proclaimed Gurus preaching spirituality. A lot of books are being written, lectures are being delivered, and we commonly hear words like self-realization, higher consciousness, meditation, diving into inner self. However, all these efforts are far from any practical application according to methodology suggested in all our scriptures. The inevitable requisite to know the true Guru or Perfect Master is only ‘opening of Divine Eye’. Only on taking refuge of a Perfect Master, one can be blessed with Brahm Gyan and experience the soul-force in his inner world in the form of Light. This knowledge is subject matter beyond our senses and is the right of every human being regardless of any physical disabilities.
His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is such Perfect Master in today’s time and seekers can attain that Brahm Gyan from Him. When a disciple tread the path guided by the Satguru, it opens up the shackles of our mind and empowers our inner self creating a life which is selfless, united and divine in every way resonating with Kumbh Mela in true sense.
