Nehru Place, New Delhi: The volunteer team at DJJS Nehru Place planned an awareness drive for the people of the surrounding areas on the aggravating issue of Drug Abuse in the early hours of October 2016. During the drive, carrying posters in their hands the volunteers reached the famous Kalka Ji Park in Nehru Place and enacted upon a brilliant script to highlight how experimentation with drugs and intoxicating substances may land one into a deep well of addiction. People from various age groups and the pool of intellect stepped forward enthusiastically to interact with the team post the skit and also discussed some queries regarding the basic concepts of drug abuse. Realizing the consequences associated with drug consumption, the people stepped resolved to “Say No To Drugs”. More than 100 people gathered and got benefitted with this program.
