Both- the Drug Abuse Eradication Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan is working incessantly on prevention of drug abuse especially amongst the youth, incorporating plethora of information and communication tools like rallys, street plays, road shows  and training and capacity building workshops.

Bodh disseminated insightful information for students to ‘SAY NO’ to drug abuse at Hoshiarpur, Punjab

One such ‘SAY NO’ workshop was held at Government School, Clock Tower, Hoshiarpur, Punjab under the banner of Bodh- an initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan. 60 students and 30 teachers both male and female took part in the interactive workshop. A play was also enacted upon before the students to highlight the aftermaths of even experimenting with drugs for the very first time and how to say no to it. Students of the school were made aware regarding prevention of drugs and moving towards the positive direction of living life. Various other issues like identifying the good and the bad, decision making, peer pressure, exam anxiety etc. were also discussed by the DJJS representative as these problems play a big part in leading one to land into the world of drug abuse  which ultimately provokes students to get involved in different types of addiction. Students were given detailed insightful information about how to deal with such problems without getting affected at any level.

The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Ashwini Kumar Dutta – Principal, Ms. Seema Saini, Vice Principal and many more teachers. All the faculties and Staff highly appreciated the program along with the efforts done by Bodh- drug abuse program of organization, in the field of drug abuse.
