Martyrdom Day celebrated by hundreds of Youngsters through Bike rally in Gurugram, Haryana

Giving a clarion call to the youths of Gurugram to stand together as 'Youth for Nation' and build a 'drug free Nation', the Young Volunteers of DJJS, Gururam, under its social initiative Bodh- the Drug Abuse Eradication Program, set out, under the scorching heat of the sun, on their bikes, with Saffron turbans tied on their heads, symbolising a solemn vow of building the Nation as dreamt by the Martyrs Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru,  spreading awareness about Drug Abuse amongst the masses.

This Bike Rally was flagged off at Dharam Colony Gurugram in the auspicious presence of Shri Dharm Pal Yadav, a well-known Social Activists and Shri Ashok Azad, along with Shri Yoginder Sarwan , Parshad, Rajendera Park, Gurugram, and covered a stretch of 10 km and benefitted more than 10,000 people on its way to Nehru Park, Gurugram,Haryana.

Followed by this rally, was a Mass Awareness session wherein a talk by Sadhvi Shitabha Bharti, integrated the thought process of Contemporary youths with the vision of Indian revolutionaries, and helped the youth understand that “A country is independent only when its citizens are independent. Thus, it is our duty to ensure that No act of ours should be responsible for landing us and then the entire country in hands of any sort of enslavement, be it any outside force like peer or social pressure or any sort of intoxicating substances like Alcohol and cigarette that are readily available these days”. To further guide the awakened consciousness of the audience in the right direction, a series of dance, performance, enactment and Band performance by Group Udaan were put forward by the Bodh Team, each telling the audience that “If as the citizens of India and the youths of it, in specific, we enjoy the privileges of living in a free country every day then it the moral responsibility of us to protect India’s Independence from these social evils.”

The event was graced by the honourable presence of esteemed dignitaries namely, Shri Ajay Goyal, Session Judge, Dwarka, Shri Pradeep Jain, District President, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Gurugram, Shri J. N. Mangla, President, Kamla Nehru Park Sudhar Samiti, Gurugram and Social Activists Shri Devendra Singhla and Shri Bimal Prasad Jain.

By the end, the session was able stir every mind and heart present there and as an result, every one pledged to awaken the True Youth inside them who has the Morals and values and morals with which our young Martyrs and great young leaders of India lived and “Build a Drug Free India”.
